Wet-operating extractor

Wet-operating extractor, for example for deburring machines with the applications of grinding, deburring and polishing to extract the dust. These extractors are often used for the extraction of for example aluminium dust, which is explosive when it is captured dry. The method of a wet-operating extractor is to separate the dust from the air by forcefully extracting the air-dust mixture through the water. The dust is absorbed by the water and sinks to the bottom of the wet filter. Subsequently the water is again separated from the air, so that clean air comes out of the wet extractor system.

The WES (the wet-operating extractor of Q-fin) is completely made out of stainless steel. A wet-operating extractor is the safest way of extraction in combination with machines for deburring and grinding. Q-fin produces and delivers, besides the wet-operating extractor system, high-quality deburring and grinding machines.

This type of extraction system is also suitable for sticky materials and materials that spark when treated. Oiled sheet components for example, can cause major problems for systems that work with a dry filter because of the sparks during the treatment. Because of the oil, the filters close off and one spark can be enough to cause a fire. All fire hazards as for dry stems are precluded when using a wet filter.
