There were over 70 entries for the EuroBLECH Awards this year. Public voting determined the winners in categories like forming and stamping, joining technology, separation technology, surface technology, automation and handling, and sustainability. In the surface technology category, Q-Fin’s F250 won the prize. This compact machine for small sheet parts is the successor to the F200, the smallest machine in their range, which started it all over 10 years ago. The F200 had a high-low table, which has been removed in the F250. Even with this narrow and versatile machine, the internal mechanism now moves up and down.

Q-Fin Wins EuroBLECH Award in Surface Technology Category
On the first day of the EuroBLECH exhibition in Hannover, Q-Fin celebrated with champagne and confetti. Their F250 finishing machine won in the surface technology category. The F250 brings the advanced technology of Q-Fin’s larger machines into a compact format, ideal for grinding, rounding, or finishing the smallest products.
Up to Five Times Faster
The F250 processes small parts up to five times faster than similar finishing machines, thanks to both mechanical improvements and advanced software. With a belt width of 250 mm and a maximum product height of 100 mm, the machine retains a compact design despite its extensive capabilities. A movable underframe and fixed table height promote stability and integration with handling systems. The optimized vacuum system holds products from 20 x 20 mm securely, while the magnet system works efficiently from 10 x 10 mm.
Each station is programmable and software-controlled, giving users full control over processes like grinding and rounding. Electronic brush compensation extends the machine’s lifespan by preventing brush belt wear. The automatic height adjustment of the sanding belt avoids unwanted scratches. Additionally, the F250 offers extensive process monitoring through ERP integration with the Qonnect+ system. The 10-inch touchscreen with a modern HMI layout ensures a user-friendly interface.
