By providing workpieces with a perfect rounding, the adhesion of the coating is much larger, and corrosion is prevented. What is also of importance, is that the Q-Edge standard prevents employees from injuring themselves on sharp edges.
The larger the Q-Edge radius, the higher the corrosion resistance and the smaller the chance of injuries.
If sharp corners are not sufficiently deburred and rounded, there will be hardly any coating on these sharp edges. This makes the chance of the formation of corrosion very high.
The advantages of mechanical deburring and the application of the Q-Edge radius:
- All workpieces of a project are properly and evenly deburred and rounded.
- Manual deburring leads to workpieces not all being evenly and properly deburred and rounded.
Besides, it is almost impossible to manually deburr and round al workpieces evenly. Therefore, it may be that the workpieces differ from one another in terms of rounding, and do not all meet our standard.
With one sequence-processing step by the deburring machine, all sides of the workpiece are deburred and rounded in accordance with our standard. The edges are provided with a small, smooth and mostly constant radius. The unique quality of the deburring machines of Q-fin is all holes and openings, both big and small, are both deburred and rounded.
Q-fin sets the standard for the rounding and deburring of workpieces in different radii with its deburring machines, with the Q-Edge standard.
