The Q-Fin Superior Set is a combination of the F1500 deburring and grinding machine (for parts up to 1500 mm wide) and the WES6000 wet operating extraction system. The ultimate solution for finishing metal parts.

The F1500 is suitable for finishing sheet metal parts from 80 up to 1500 mm wide. Equipped with a vacuum or magnet system. Minimum product dimensions 80 x 80 mm (for the vacuum version). The magnet version is only suitable for finishing steel and other ferrous parts. The vacuum version is suitable for the finishing of stainless steel, aluminium, steel and other non-ferrous parts.

With the WES6000 from Q-Fin fire risk is excluded. With this wet-working extraction system you can extract grinding dust without the loss of pressure. The extractor is entirely made of stainless steel and has an extraction capacity of 6000 m3/h. With the WES6000 you also avoid the risk of explosion when grinding aluminium parts.

The Superior Set is shipped incl. piping. If required, we also take care of transport, installation and training on location.


Operation F1500

With the F1500 from Q-Fin you can deburr, edge round and finish sheet metal parts up to 1500 mm wide in one pass. Depending on the materials to be processed, you can choose a system with vacuum or magnetic product support (for non-ferrous and ferrous materials respectively). The rubber conveyor belt is tailored accordingly.

The first station of the F1500 consists of the grinding unit. The abrasive belt removes burrs and/or burn-in points from the product surface. You can determine the grit size of the grinding belt yourself, among other things depending on the height and hardness of the burr. A grinding belt with grain size K120 is supplied with the machine as standard. If you do not have any burrs, you can leave the grinding belt off or remove it. It is also possible to apply a line finish to your product with a finer sanding belt (e.g. K320) or to finish with a scotch-brite belt.

The second and third station consists of the so called brush unit, equipped with 4 cross rotating oscillating disc brushes. This allows you to remove the sharp edges of the product by breaking the edges or providing them with a (large) radius. To change the finish of the surface (e.g. more high gloss) you can adjust the brush selection yourself.

The placement of special brushes also makes the F1500 with magnetic system very suitable for removing oxide layer or deslag steel products. Combinations of operations are also possible in 1 throughput.

Operation WES6000

WES stands for 'Wet Extraction System' and according to Q-Fin is the most easy, safe and durable way to extract grinding dust. With this wet operating extractor, fire and explosion risks are excluded. Your operators can work in a clean, dust-free environment.

The WES is available as WES3000 and WES6000. These wet dust extractors can be combined with almost all our deburring machines, in many cases even multiple deburring machines can be connected to one WES extraction system.

The WES6000 provides sufficient extraction capacity for the dust extraction of the F1500. If required, we can provide installation including pipe work, as well as training of your operators on site. Prior to installation, we will draw up an installation lay out in consultation with you, in which we will also draw up the pipework. We will also provide you with a checklist so that you can check whether all the necessary facilities are present.
